Women's Aid is the national charity working to end domestic violence against women and children. For nearly 50 years, it has been at the forefront of developing and coordinating responses to domestic violence and abuse through practice. It empowers survivors by putting their voices at the heart of its work, working with and for women and children, listening to them and responding to their needs.

Women's Aid was founded on women's struggles against patriarchy, sexism and male violence, and grew out of the women's movement in the 70s and 80s. Today, it takes an intersectional approach to its work to end domestic abuse, and stands alongside other feminist organizations leading the way in eradicating violence against women and girls.
