Since 1992, Caviver has carried out diagnostic, rehabilitation and treatment activities for children aged 0 to 15 presenting the main causes of childhood blindness in the State of Ceará, thus contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of these children and their families.
The beneficiaries are socially disadvantaged children with congenital cataracts, retinopathy of prematurity and congenital glaucoma, as well as children with multiple disabilities for adaptation and visual and comprehensive rehabilitation in all municipalities of Ceará.
