This project is supported by L'OCCITANE en Provence's Manufactures.
Context
To fight against the lack of the youth's access to the nature, the growing sedentary lifestyle or the screens, we must increase the link between men and their natural surroundings. With this project, the "Syndicat de Gestion des Gorges de l'Ardèche" (SGGA) seeks to educate children to their environnement in order to help them become citizens respectful of the planet and able to act for a more sustainable future.
Supported Project
In 2024-2025, L'OCCITANE en Provence's Manufactures supported SGGA in its project focused on five classes located near the Gorge de l'Ardèche nature reserve and selected through a call to project. An "area of nature" is picked out in which workshops linked to nature awareness are organised throughout the academic year. The activities carried out are focused on biodiversity, fauna, flora and the ecosytems' ways of working. Varied approaches are adopted - from observation of the nature to artistical creation, sensory games and hikes - in order for the students to have a rich and complete understanding of their surroundings.
