Context

The prevalence of myopia is high in Hong Kong as 62% of Hong Kong school children need spectacle correction before age 12. Spectacles play an effective role in improving the visual performance in early childhood and for the visually impaired children. Their social and educational integrations can be maximized by early treatment and appropriate spectacle correction.
