The Mata Ciliar Association (AMC) is a non-profit entity declared of federal public utility and that since 1987 develops several actions for the conservation of biodiversity. Their mission is to be a means to promote the quality of life through the sustainable use of natural resources.
They are organized around these principles:
- Commitment to the conservation of biodiversity;
- Act in a humanitarian manner, valuing the participation of people in the accomplishment of our mission
- Acting with transparency, reporting to society on the work developed
