Context
At the heart of the Domaine de Rochemure in the commune of Jaujac, the Maison du Parc is a reception area serving the Monts d'Ardèche region, available to residents and visitors, as well as community, institutional and economic stakeholders. Its mission is to be at the same time a working space, and place devoted to welcome all types of publics and an estate demonstrating inspiring biodiversity practices: eco-renovation, gardening, agriculture, forests and natural spaces. The Maison du Parc's gardens are certified "Refuge LPO", meaning that the care for natural ressources, the absence of chemicals and the choice of an adapted vegetation is at the core of the Parc's management.
Supported Project
In 2024-2025, L'OCCITANE Manufactures funded a Monts d'Ardèche Regional Natural Park's project focused on the reorganisation of the internal and external reception of the Maison du Parc. The renovation works include the parking lot, the accesses to the Maison and the gardens. The program carries out activities to increase the reception of the public with improvements in the signage system, the vegetalisation of the walls, and the information about the biodiversity of the place in general.
