The Moringa, a green superfood.

The Foundation provides the total funding of a project conducted by the association Moringanews. The project consists in developing a production unit of Moringa leaves powder in Burkina Faso, in collaboration with women from Moutila. The Moringa is a shrub, easy to cultivate and resistant to drought. This tree produces abundant leaves with a high concentration of proteins, vitamins, and minerals, the leaves can be used in countries affected by the food crisis... to learn more

L'Occitane's Foundation aims to implement and to help exemplary actions of public interest in three fields:

		Support to visually impaired people We support projects that give a better quality of life to people with sensory deficiencies. We aim to help their professional insertion, access to care and training. See the projects in this field of action

		Economic emancipation of women We support projects that help develop the autonomy and economic emancipation of women in developing countries. See the projects in this field of action

		Preservation of the 'knowledge of nature' We develop projects that support actions allowing to preserve the 'knowledge of nature'. See the projects in this field of action

Eye care in Bangladesh Oeil-Eye

The L’Occitane Foundation continues to maintain a strong relationship with the NGO ORBIS that was initiated 8 years ago by the company. In 2008 ORBIS will begin an ambitious project to bring quality eye care to three poor rural districts of Bangladesh covering a population of nearly 7 million people.
