Hospital Kuala Lumpur is now the largest hospital under the Ministry of Health of Malaysia and is considered to be one of the biggest in Asia. It is a government tertiary referral hospital, located on 150 acres of prime land with 83 wards and 2300 beds. Its objectives :
- Identifying avoidable and treatable causes of blindness in children
- To provide comprehensive eye screening to under privileged children
- To reduce psychosocial implications to children with visual impairment
