Preservation of Natural Heritage

Nature is the first source of inspiration for L'OCCITANE, which uses more than 300 ingredients of natural origin for the production of its cosmetics.

Born in the Alps of Haute Provence in 1976, L'OCCITANE has been committed since its beginning to the preservation of the natural heritage of Provence.

In harmony with the values and the origins of the brand, the Foundation has been committed since 2006 to initiatives that:
- Promote the territories, traditions and know-how of Provence,
- Transmit the knowledge of the vegetal natural heritage,
- Protect the endangered species and ecosystems.

The L'OCCITANE Foundation's commitment has contributed to sensitize 1 562 786 people and to preserve 524 different plant species
