Context
Nœul Park used to be an area for dumping waste until 1993, before being transformed into a park and a golf course. Numerous activities have been carried out on the site to receive it, and reforestation is probably among the most significant.
Supported project
In 2021-2022, L'OCCITANE Korea and the L'OCCITANE Foundation are supporting PUR Project's project to reforest Nœul Park in order to restore its landscape. The objective is to raise awareness of environmental issues and to teach local people agroforestry practices. The members of the association with the help of the population will plant 1,010 trees and preserve 9 different varieties in order to revive the ecosystems that have been degraded by waste and to rebuild a natural habitat where fauna and flora will be able to thrive.
