You have a project you would like to submit?

What projects can be funded by the L'OCCITANE Foundation ?

The L’OCCITANE Foundation supports annual actions carried out by associations within three specific fields of action and in four specific countries:

Tableau Fields of Action

Important !

The L’OCCITANE Foundation will only support those projects that fit perfectly its fields of action and its intervention countries.

Please note that the L’OCCITANE Foundation does not support :

- Cultural projects and/nor temporary events (expositions, conferences…)

- Individual Projects (travel expenses...)

- Projects out of geographical or thematic scope

Can your Project be supported by the L’OCCITANE Foundation?

Before submitting a funding request, ask yourself three questions:

1 - Is your project carried out by an association?

2 - Does your project plan to intervene in France, in Burkina Faso, in Brazil or in Bangladesh?

3 – Does your project wish to help visually impaired people, to support women emancipation or to preserve the tradition of provençal plants?

If you answered NO to at least one of the previous questions : The L’OCCITANE Foundation will not be able to support your project

If you answered YES to all the three questions : we kindly invite you to submit your project to the L’OCCITANE Foundation

1.
I present my Project

I download and I fill in the following documents:

I send these documents via e-mail to Mary BONNEAUD (mbonneaud@fondation.loccitane.com)

If I have complementary documents, I can also send them via e-mail (
mbonneaud@fondation.loccitane.com) or by postal mail:

Fondation L'OCCITANE

29 rue des Pyramides
75001 Paris

2. I meet the Foundation

If the project corresponds to the Foundation values and to their intervention fields, the Foundation will get in touch with me in order to get more details about my Project and complementary documents if needed.

3. My Project is selected

The Foundation pre-selects my Project based on interviews, research and meetings.

I understand that the L’OCCITANE Foundation:

  • Can check the compliance records and ensure the availability of all documents necessary for the understanding of the project.
  • Reserves the right to visit the partner in order to better assess the project viability and the candidate structure reliability. The Foundation is deeply committed with having project holders actively committed on the field.
  • May ask an expertise advice from administrators of the Foundation and/or Advisory Committee.
  • Intends to be able to lead an active partnership with the project holders and ensure an internal and external communication of the Foundation support to the project.

My Project is then presented to the Board of Trustees that will decide whether it will get the Foundation support or not. The Board of Trustees decides depending on how well the project fits the Foundation’s thematic and geographic scope and also, depending on the availability of budget.

4. My Project is chosen

If my Project is chosen by the Board of Trustees, the Foundation will send me a Commitment Notification letter which specifies the terms of payment of the subsidy as well as the levy conditions.

Then, together with the Foundation, we will get our partnership agreement ready. This document defines the duties of both of us (my Association and the Foundation) with regard to the funding of the Foundation.

5. I sign the Partnership Agreement and my Project gets its first payment

The Partnership Agreement is then signed by both parties. Once the document has been signed and sent back to the Foundation, my Project will receive its first payment.

6. I send a progress report and my Project gets its second payment

Once I’ve sent my Project’s Progress Report to the Foundation, my Project will receive its second payment. It will not be until 6 months after the beginning of the project that the second payment will be done.

7. My Project is over

Once my Project is over, I send to the Foundation my Project’s Final Report that will end our partnership.
